A discussion about titles and fonts you decided to put into your movie:
We have yet to create a title for our film, though we are certain we want to use capitalized and bold fonts in any and all wording displayed in the film to add the dramatic feeling of this tense film.

We used several various camera shots in our filming process to incorporate what we learned throughout the year, and made sure to have a variety of angles as well. The light setting in Palumbo's is uniform, and they use yellow light to illuminate the restaurant, so out lighting did not cast shadows, but was not extremely high-key either. We did not add any special effects to the video and do not plan to.

We decided to stick to simply cuts, as they are the most standard and used transitions in the media. I am still contemplating adding cuts to dark black screens after the three most alerting clips, but that needs to be further discussed with my team.

No background music will be added to the film. I really liked how there was no background music in one of the films we analyzed before filming, as it made the scene feel more tense and allowed for better focus on the natural sounds of the scene. We still need to figure out a way to put Reid's voice in the background of certain scenes in our film as our news reporter while Isaiah is wiping down the tables.
Problems encountered during editing:
Problems encountered during editing:
It was a bit difficult to find an editing software that was favorable to our unexperienced team, as none of us have any real experience with editing a film to the certain degree of professionalism that we desire. We also did not have the desired glasses that we wanted to use for the fake champagne. Our original videographer, a peer student of ours who specializes in film and has directed several short films and projects of his own, was unable to attend.
Solutions to problems encountered during editing:
Solutions to problems encountered during editing:
We began editing on several different mediums, and narrowed it down to which editing software produced the best first minute of our filming and with the least complications and confusions. My job has regular drinking glasses that they use to serve wine and sometimes beer to customers, so we used a few of the glasses they had on hand to pour and drink our fake champagne. We were able to use our knowledge of different filming shots and angles gained through the course to record our scenes the best we could on our own using our phones.
Amount of time spent editing:
Amount of time spent editing:
Because of scheduling complications and inadequate communication after filming, we were not able to spend as much time editing as a team as I had originally wished, but we individually did our best to edit the scenes in a way we liked best, and we decided that the best edit would be the one used for our group. I would estimate about 3-5 hours spent this week editing after filming from each member.

Christlie Poteau, Isaiah Walton, and Sasha Leo. We all edited the clips and we will determine which edit makes the final cut and continue building on that version after a few more meetings and discussions.

We were unable to conduct reshoots for any scenes in the weekend following shooting, but we will be doing reshoots next weekend wearing the same outfits to correct any errors in our original takes.
